Lift Your Bar
If you find that your hands hurt on long rides—even with gloves—the problem may lie with your handlebar. Try lifting it a little. One of the key things we do to make our bikes handle better is to adjusting handlebar height. Often, height doesn’t feel to be at an optimal handling height. A lower handlebar height reduces the center of gravity. By placing more weight over the front wheel, better traction is the direct result and provides a more centered position between both wheels to improve control, especially during climbing.
